The Riverdale Y invites you and your family to their Open house, Sunday September 16 from 10AM-2PM as they kick off their fall programs! Enjoy their pool, gym, and fitness center for FREE. Try sample classes in Fitness, Swim, Sports, and Arts. They will have a bouncy castle, face painting, the popular Toddler Dance jam, arts & crafts, and much more!


HIR Clothing Drive- The HIR Clothing Drive will take place on Sunday October 14, 2018 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm . Please sort and bag separately men's, women's and children's clothing in sturdy garbage bags. We also are collecting sheets, blankets, quilts and towels . Please bag those separately. Deposit clothing and bedding/linens in the truck that will be stationed outside the HIR. Volunteers are needed. NY NCSY Over the Edge - New York NCSY “Over the Edge” Event-October 21st 2018. Want to repel down the side of a NY building? Want do to it for a great cause? Help Support New York NCSY and go “over the edge” by raising money to repel down a Long Island building.

The MTA Bridges and Tunnels is closing the Henry Hudson Bridge pedestrian pathway for 19 months beginning October 20, 2018. This will cut off Riverdale residents to Inwood park and the Hudson River Greenway.  You can help by:

Bone Marrow and Blood/Platelet Donations

Calling all 18 — 44 year olds: A member of our community is in need of a bone marrow transplant.  In order to undergo this life-saving procedure, he needs a match.
